Another rare look into Mold's past, this time against Rock Ferry Social in the Pyke Cup, this cup was run by the West Cheshire League for it's clubs and Rock Ferry Social where about a mile or so away from Tranmere Rovers.

Cymru Alliance League - League Cup 1st Round

Mold Alexandra crashed out of the Cymru Alliance League Cup to a 3-0 defeat by Bethesda Athletic, this score line faltered the visitors.
Mold played some lovely football and created many scoring chances having 17 shots on goal to Bethesda’s 8, but the home side failed time and time again to convert their chances, although three very good attempts came back of the post and upright, Bethesda won the game with a spot-kick and two late errors which finally undone the home side.

Cymru Alliance - League Cup Preliminary Round

Mold Alexandra progressed into the next round with a 7-2 win over Caernarfon Town, Mold had raced into a 2-0 lead before being pegged back to 2-2.
Caernarfon Town had started the game and had won a free-kick on the edge of the Mold area after Gary Burns had brought Ashley Ruane down, and from the free-kick a Caernarfon player’s shot was blocked by the Mold defence and cleared on 5 minutes.
