Another rare look into Mold's past, this time against Rock Ferry Social in the Pyke Cup, this cup was run by the West Cheshire League for it's clubs and Rock Ferry Social where about a mile or so away from Tranmere Rovers.

Rock Ferry Social were rather slow in the opening exchanges, but they soon came to grips with this Pyke Cup 1st round tie at the Riverside.

Pre-Season Friendly

The final pre-season friendly saw Mold Alexandra beat Welsh National League Division One side Johnstown Youth 3-0, both sides played an enjoyable match which the lower league side did well to keep the score at 0-0 until the 54th minute.
Some who watched the game thought Mold had struggled but that would be to take away how Johnstown Youth had played, and they certainly worked hard for each other and should do well in their respective league this coming season.

Pre-Season Friendly

This was a very good pre-season friendly against Welsh Premier League side Cefn Druids, the visitors certainly played the better in the opening 45 minutes creating many scoring chances but by the interval only having 1 goal to show for all their effort, but if the first belonged to Cefn Druids then the second belonged to Mold Alexandra who like the Druids had just 1 goal to show for all their efforts.
