Pre Season Training
Pre season training will start on Tuesday July the 1st at 6.45 till 8.30 at Alyn Park. Followed by a session on the Thursday also starting at 6.45.
Every week there after training will be on Mondays and Thursdays, 6.45 start.
Registration forms for players can be signed at that first session so I'm hoping to get as many as possible down there for that first session so that they can sign on. I will be speaking to all the first team players, some reserves and some other players personally to tell them the arrangements for pre season and the season ahead in the next few days(wife and Knee permiting).
Anybody and everybody else is welcome to come along to training if they are keen in playing for Mold Alex next season. I've heard there is plenty of interest out there, so see you all soon.

Believe after the 5-1 defeat by Rhos Aelwyd, that Gary Burns and Sam Roberts where asked to sign for them.
Can't see either going, although i have it on good advice young Burns has been offered more than we can afford, and despite us being one division up you could not blame him for going their.
Gary has been offered £25 a game plus £15 expenses, thats £40 a game, not bad at all, believe Sam Roberts is simalar except for expenxes.

Don't know anything about Rhos Aelwyd offering such money, to be fair they would not as they are in the Welsh National League.
To put Anonymous's mind at rest Gary is staying at Mold, and that should be the end of all the transfer talk.

Its gone a bit silly again. Haven't finished speaking to all of the players yet as there are well over 30 to get through. But every single person I've spoken to has given me their word and for some that has been on numerous occasions and reiterated their desire to play at Mold. Most will be signing on the night of that first training session and then hopefully, maybe all the negative posts will stop. As I've said before, I'm new to this, but when somebody gives me their word then thats the best thing I can have. Please just wait now until the season has started then you can post what you like and we'll see who has left the club and who has re signed.

No thats fine, thanks. We don't live in Zimbabwe. Everyone's entitled to there say even if it is a load of Sheffield United. Wish people would come on the site and say positive things about what the club is doing however and who they've heard might be coming to us rather than the other way round. Don't believe the things written are true anyway but it could cause unrest. I'll just reiterate what I said before and say that everyone i've spoken to has saidthey will re signing.
Besides the banter makes the writing of 28 school reports a little easier to bare, it'll soon be the summer holidays. Once again, thanks again greedy.

Some first teamers have not yet resigned back on, believe Stu Hayes and Gary Burns are 2 of them are they on holiday?

Gary Burns is back off holiday tonight. I've just spoken to his Dad earlier.
The only players who haven't signed so far are Gary Burns (on holiday), Barry Spender says he can't commit this year as he is going to be working on Saturdays but I'm hoping he will still sign a form and Chris Larsen. Everybody including Stuey Hayes, Postman Pat and even Elvis who made an appearance down at Alyn Park so we got him on a form also, have signed.

Have to say i'm a very big fan of Barry Spender and i certainly hope he reconsiders his decision, as for Gary Burns i think we need him very much and i hope too that he resigns for our great club.

Totally agree both had a big part to play in our promotion last year.

Barry Spender is a decent player and would make a good squad member, but Gary Burns is a different kettle of fish.
For me we need him more than some of us are prepared to admit, and along with Stuart Hayes, Sam Roberts, Terry Pughe and Wayne Craig all these players are just pure quality, i mean no malace to other players omitted but in my opinion and it is just mine, these lads represent Mold going forward.
Pleased that they have all signed back on for the Alex, just hope Gary Burns does as well...roll on 2008-2009, i cn't wait.

Barry if your reading this please stay, your a very good player and i would be disapointed if you left.
